Agreed wrote:Er, Ken, I was already doing it that way. Except rather than loading it all full-blast, I instead made sure that the range of adjustment on the knobs was like the amp that I was trying to get the sound of, then I set them as I personally wanted to hear them (think of them as compile settings). This allows the end user to have a range of adjustment for the tone that sounds good. I am not sure that would be maintained if you changed my stuff around

McBarGig wrote:Well Rob, we're all in this thing at the same time. The beta testers and I don't really have a lot of time on it either. But just a note, Wyres Strings will be sponsoring a Gut file contest coming very soon! Prizes and details are coming. I have been using these strings for about 5 years and They are Hand Wound, very cool stuff. Its not announced on their site yet, but will be as soon as we get the details back. I'm waiting to hear back from Marshall, Fender, and Mesa Boogie to see if they'll judge. Also we need permission from them to use their names in Categories. I'd like to have Best Marshall, Best Fender, and Best Mesa Boogie categories, as well as a best freestyle.
Here's their site...
