latency issue

Postby mikeebruno » Tue Mar 15, 2011 2:46 am

I love the sound of the waves GTR3 but like the rest of the waves product, they are very consuming...
On buffer 32 I hear some " tic tic " king of spike sound or glitching in the sound..But as the mettering shows it is the network
that is loaded... CPU, RAM is fine and even almost at sleep. I have a MBP 2.4 dual / 2gig ram. My device is guitar port.
Network is loaded... what does this mean ?
Thanks !

Also you might try to change your systems priority settings to background services(such as drivers for your guitar port)
Right click on computer in the start menu-> Advanced system settings->Under Performance press Settings-> Adjust for best Performance here and then change to the Advanced Tab->Click Background Services, then OK and Restart your computer.

Some diffrence?
u use 32 samples per second?
try to higher that to 128 or 256 if some problem still excist, and if your using 48kHz sampling or 96kHZ change to 44.1kHz.
