I am planing on buying a pair if Mackie MR6mkIII for playing the guitar at home using BIAS Fx.
My sound card is a Line 6 UX1, which has two (left and right) analog outputs, which are unbalanced. The input of the studio monitors are balanced. My question is: should I buy balanced cables (TRS to TRS)?
I don't know if there would be any problem by having a balanced cable, even if the output is unbalanced, whereas the input in the monitors are balanced.
Does it matter? I plan to get 1.5 m long cables, if that's relevant.
Thanks in advance

There is no benefit unless *all* equipment and connections are balanced. Unbalanced outputs => unbalanced signal. See, for example:
