hey, thanks for the great advice. I wass just wondering what difference impulses make the the sound and how they do it??? thanks very much

Thanks for all these beginners guides, I got my edirol interface the other day and have been going crazy about not being able to get a decent metal tone from guitar rig. The cabinet impulses make hell of a difference, I didn't even understand what they were and how to use them before reading this.

hi, im a beginner at this stuff. the impulses is completely new to me, is this something that will improve guitar rig 4 as well? im not sure if this is just to solve a problem with part 2

im going to go reasearch impulses now

I think you just saved our album, man... thank you for introducing "impulses" to (some of) us.

Here is my first guitar sound using the free plug in that you mentioned and (two of) the impulses that you recommended:

I played the rif on one string since my top string is missing so it sounds a little higher, but I was had to test this before I go buy some more strings.

I do have a question, however. After the first riff that I play i mute the string for the "riding" part and somehow I get this sound in the middle. It sounds like the my guitars suddenly got some bass right in the middle that I don't want.

Any idea how to get that out of the way? should I mute the strings differently or is it always gonna be there? I tried to EQ it, but no luck.
