Soma are Krank Rev, other 6505 I think...
Don't remember exactly which pack is which, but I'm pretty sure those were the amps used by GH...

Also, the cab was a Mesa Stiletto (or whatever is called), not a Mesa Oversize (Rectifier Standard)

GH has made some OS IRs, but I don't think they're in this pack.
They're called "Final", "Final 2" and "Grind", if I remember correctly...

You can find some new OS IRs here:

A little late to the party but nevertheless thank you very much for these Impulses, They fit in well with the other various collections i have

Cheers

Dean/Nekro
Currently Setup Out Of Many I Am Digging: Guitar/Pickups: Ibanez Iron Label RGIB6-BK 28 Inch Scale-Length, EMG85 at the bridge & EMG60 at the neck, Running on 18v (Tuned F/C/F/Bb/D/G). Pedal(s): Boss NS-2 Noise Suppressor > Maxon Nine Series ST-9 Pro+ Super Tube Overdrive (In the NS-2's Loop) > Radial Tonebone Twin-City Active ABY Switcher. Running into a smallish scale dual amp head and cab setup consisting of a Blackstar HT5-H into a Zilla Cabs 2x12 oversized "Fatboy" cab fitted with Celestion Vintage 30's. Then a Laney IronHeart Studio rack mount head into a Marshall 1960B cab fitted with Celestion G12100K's bottom + a pair of Seventy80's up top. Using The 1 watt input on the IronHeart Studio and balancing the level against the HT5-H = plenty of variation. Another combination of many I've been digging recently. Best To All as always

you need to turn the cabs off in amplitube and then place an impulse loader after it.. maybe try voxengo boogex if your having no luck with kefir:
http://www.voxengo.com/product/boogex/
theres an explanation of how to use it here:
http://guitarampmodeling.com/viewtopic. ... ial#p15952

First time actually posting, long time lurker. Just wanted to say thanks a lot for this pack and for the introduction to impulses in general. Never had my guitar sounding this good.

Hey Alu, this Thread actually made me a member... couldn't resist all the good responses and had to download the pack as well. Very well done.

I've got a rather administrative question,

Would you give the permission of using these files (I'm spesifically talking about the single friedman impulses) for commercial uses, namely recording certain major parts of an album with this impulses or is that out of question?

I need to clarify here: those IRs are from GuitarHack (an Andy Sneap forum user), not from me. I've only posted the link.
You should try to contact him on the Sneap forum, but I think you can use it in commercial productions without issues. Maybe it would be cool to name him in the credits, though ;)

Where are guitarhack's other impulses and why the fuck can't I find them? I'm talking about NEW_IR, Grind, Final, and ThisOne. Any ideas? Having a hard time tracking them down! Thanks
