The last IK newsletter that I got claimed that Amplitube Metal is available via download for Stomp IO purchasers. I think that maybe they are just anticipating the realease of Revalver MKIII and don't want to let Revalver have the limelight.

Looks like the major competitors are playing some type of waiting game. NI has been delaying GR3.1 for 3 weeks now too.
Wonder what that's about.

X-Gear will contain X-Mas amp too... (http://www.soundspectral.com/)

I've heard that X-Gear uses slighty different algoritms and seems to be more dynamic-responsive (you need to rise the gain too, compared to AT2)...
The TS is also "way" better according to some users...

Let me know if you hear a noticeable difference on your presets...

It "will ship within 2007" according to their web site  Apparently they use a different calendar in Italy

Didn't mean that, but there are a lot of better place to go if you want to come to Europe (worst too obviously)...

X-mas amp in X-gear? That would be cool. WHere did you get that info?

I haven't had much time with x-gear yet to tell you if it is indeed more responsive or not. I'll let you know my findings once I get some time with it. :)

:) I did a search on Xmas amp after I read your post and browsed the KVR thread long enough to figure out you were likely joking. :) Too bad though, some of the sound samples for that amp are pretty good.

Ya know, I wasn't overly excited about AMP Metal a month ago, but now I have a free copy coming to me when its released, so hurry up all ready!
